Pride Month is joyful, overwhelming, emotional, affirming — and for many of us, completely exhausting. If you’re feeling the burnout or the blues after a high-energy June, you’re not alone.
Here’s how we’re resetting this July — and how you can, too:
1. Reconnect With Your Queer Joy
It doesn’t have to be a parade. Queer joy can be a playlist, a text to a friend, or a moment alone in your binder feeling good in your skin.
2. Limit Screen Time
Your feed is probably full of July 1st rainbow-drop-offs. Don’t let it mess with your energy. Unfollow, mute, log off if you need to.
3. Get Outside or Move Your Body
Even just a walk in your favorite tee can help clear your head and bring you back to your center.
4. Celebrate Quietly
Not all Pride is loud. Read queer books. Rewatch Heartstopper. Journal. Make zines. Create just for you.
5. Make a Plan for What’s Next
Pride Month may be over, but your voice still matters. Whether you want to volunteer, organize, rest, or build something new — now’s the time to refocus.
Queer joy doesn’t need a timeline. We’re proud of you every month.
