What Pride Means to Us — FLAVNT’s Founders Reflect

When we started FLAVNT, it was because we didn’t see ourselves in the world around us — especially not in the clothing we wore.

As queer, gender-nonconforming siblings, we knew what it felt like to shrink ourselves to fit into boxes that were never meant for us. And so we built FLAVNT to be the opposite of that. Loud. Soft. Brave. Messy. Real.

Courtney says:

“I think of Pride as both protest and party. A time to reconnect with our community and remind ourselves why visibility matters — and why we still have a lot of work to do.”

Chris says:

“Pride, to me, is the celebration of survival. Every year, it feels like a reset — a chance to remember who we are and how far we’ve come, especially in the face of policies and people trying to erase us.”

We’re proud that FLAVNT is still here, 10 years later, helping people feel more themselves — whether they’re trying on their first binder or wearing their identity across their chest for the world to see.

We’re not just making clothes. We’re making room. For all of us.

🖤 Thank you for being part of this journey.
